Tour Down Under is on

So Green Edge are finally rolling in competition. They seemed to have ticked most of the boxes needed to succeed: Garish kit, combustable egos, and bicycles with wheels. But two points do concern me deeply and point to danger. Firstly the lack of major sponsor beyond one rich man makes more than two years of existence seem unlikely at this stage. when even the biggest international teams vanishing when sponsor pull the plug (HTC) or merging when one can't be found (leopard trek), what can an Australian team hope for? Secondly and most worrying is the commissioning and need for a team song. Very worrying indeed
