Tour Down Under is on

So Green Edge are finally rolling in competition. They seemed to have ticked most of the boxes needed to succeed: Garish kit, combustable egos, and bicycles with wheels. But two points do concern me deeply and point to danger. Firstly the lack of major sponsor beyond one rich man makes more than two years of existence seem unlikely at this stage. when even the biggest international teams vanishing when sponsor pull the plug (HTC) or merging when one can't be found (leopard trek), what can an Australian team hope for? Secondly and most worrying is the commissioning and need for a team song. Very worrying indeed

Shane Warne road rage incident seems to be getting out of control. Now Aussie Chiara has got involved !!!
Like it or not what Shane says goes.  Above the law end of story. Channel 9 has suspended all coverage of Tour Down Under until Warnie (and Liz) receives a verbal apology from every bike owner in Australia. He will also be sitting down with Tracey on ACA next week to explain how has effected him.
